1. Home Tuition Service Refund

If Lakshya Home Tuition is unable to provide a suitable home tutor within 3 months from the date of payment, the registration fee will be eligible for a refund.

  • The 3-month period is calculated from the date payment is received.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after confirmation.

2. Tutor Registration Fee Refund

If a tutor wishes to cancel their registration and request a refund:

  • A 3% deduction will be applied to cover administrative and processing costs.

  • The remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

3. Tutor First-Month Fee Policy

If a tutor fails to return 50% of the first-month tuition fee (in cases where it’s required by the company policy or agreement), the tutor’s registration with Lakshya Home Tuition will be cancelled.

  • This condition ensures fairness and trust in our platform and services.

Important Notes:

  • Refunds are strictly applicable only under the above-stated conditions.

  • All refund or cancellation requests must be submitted formally via email or customer support.

  • Refunds will not be processed for conditions not covered above.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. The definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Refund Policy:

  • “Company” (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this policy) refers to Lakshya Home Tuition.

  • “Client” means the individual or entity who pays for and receives home tuition services from the Company.

  • “Tutor” refers to the individual who registers with Lakshya Home Tuition to offer tutoring services.

  • “Service” refers to the home tuition arrangement facilitated by Lakshya Home Tuition between tutors and clients.

  • “Registration Fee” means the non-refundable or partially refundable fee paid by a tutor to register with the Company.

  • “Refund” means the return of funds paid to the Company, subject to the conditions stated in this policy.

  • “Working Days” refers to business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Demo Classes and Tutor Selection

  • Upon successful registration, each tutor is eligible for up to 2 demo classes arranged by Lakshya Home Tuition.

  • These demo classes are provided to help clients evaluate the tutor’s teaching ability and suitability.

  • If the tutor is not selected by any client after completing both demo classes, their registration will be canceled.

  • In such cases, the registration fee will not be refunded, as it covers administrative and promotional efforts made during the matching process.

  • Tutors are encouraged to perform at their best during demo sessions to increase their chances of selection.
