Lakshya Home Tuition – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lakshya Home Tuition. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between tutors, clients (students/parents), and the Company. By registering or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Capitalized words have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether in singular or plural form.

Definitions

  • Company refers to Lakshya Home Tuition (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”).

  • Client means any individual or entity that pays for tuition services.

  • Tutor refers to individuals who register to provide tutoring services.

  • Service refers to the home tuition arrangements provided by the Company.

  • Registration Fee is the amount paid by tutors to register with Lakshya Home Tuition.

  • Demo Class is a trial session provided by the tutor to the client before final selection.

  • Working Days exclude weekends and public holidays.

3. Tutor Registration and Demo Classes

  • Tutors are required to pay a registration fee to be listed with Lakshya Home Tuition.

  • Each registered tutor is eligible for up to 2 demo classes.

  • If the tutor is not selected by any client after both demo classes, their registration will be canceled.

  • In such cases, no refund will be issued for the registration fee.

  • Tutors must maintain professionalism, punctuality, and teaching quality.

4. Refund Policy for Clients

  • If the Company is unable to provide a tutor within 3 months of payment, a full refund will be issued to the client.

  • The 3-month period begins from the date payment is received.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after verification.

  • Refunds are not applicable if the client cancels or changes requirements independently.

5. Refund Policy for Tutors

  • If a refund is approved due to administrative reasons, a 3% deduction will be applied to cover processing costs.

  • No refund will be provided if the tutor has completed the 2 demo classes and was not selected.

6. Code of Conduct

All tutors and clients must:

  • Communicate respectfully.

  • Avoid sharing misleading information.

  • Use the platform solely for educational purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lakshya Home Tuition is not liable for:

  • Any loss or damages resulting from the tutor-client relationship.

  • Misconduct by either party during or outside the tuition sessions.

8. Amendments

Lakshya Home Tuition reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of changes via email or our website.
